Inspired by the quiet grandeur of historic Indian doorways, Dehleez III -  The Twin Lines translates architectural form into a minimalist work of textile art.

Two parallel lines of hand-embroidered metallic Zardozi and mixed Dabka work trace a simple, linear composition against a richly textured silk base. The interplay of gold-toned metallic detailing and understated textile texture lends the piece depth, dimension and a subtle luminosity.
