Lattice Aroma Lamp

Hand-carved soapstone, ribbed by hand, with a borosilicate glass well on top for oil & water. A single tea light warms it slowly - no electricity, no plastic, just heat and scent moving through a room the way it has for centuries.
Soapstone holds warmth long after the flame goes out.

Design: Architectural rather than ornamental: a removable borosilicate glass well sits above the stone body. A hand ribbed cylinder with a gilded inner aperture that diffuses candle light as glow and not a flame.

The stepwell - Drawn from the descending stone tiers of India's stepwells. This lamp holds water in the well on top.

Fill glass well with two-thirds of water, add 4-5 drops of oil, never heat dry. Cool fully before handling. Glass well: hand wash. Stone body: wipe with a damp cloth only - do not submerge. Never leave a lit flame unattended. Soapstone is soft and will leave a mark if knocked.

Use - everyday evening ritual, bedside, living room, study or reading corner, meditation and yoga spaces, bathroom.
